# New Tab/Window

 * After installing Wp Accessibility (1.3.11) my target=”_blank” links no longer
   open in a new tab. When I disable the plugin all works. Is this norma behavior
   for the plugin? If not, where might I look to fix the problem

 * One of the options in the plug-in is to disable opening windows in a new tab;
   it’s not mandatory to use it, but it is an option.
 * For accessibility, it’s better to leave users in control of whether or not a 
   link will open in a new window or tab, but as long as you include text in the
   link that indicates it will open in a new window, you’re OK from an accessibility
   standpoint.

 * Thnks for the reply and info. I am new t adding accessibility to web pages. After
   reading a few web sites I have removed the _blank tags and made sure the box 
   was properly checked in th settings.
