Actually, I just got back here to say: other themes I have installed don’t “continue” the sidebar onto the post pages, so that’s probably a good thought!
The sun graphic is the icon for the Weather Plugin from Jeremiah – gets the weather from the closest NOAA station….

Yeah now I am just trying to remember how to limit it to index only, I had done this to allow on additional and can’t remember how to require once.
Hmm. Not being a theme originator, and certainly not being a code monkey, I can’t help you with that. However. You might try looking at other themes to see how they handle it….

Yeah I just tried include_once () to no avail and I thought I had it saved how somewhere, I am new to this php stuff. Thanks
also require_once() does not work well they both work for get sidebar but I would have thought once would be one time. Hmm???
I think that’s a page specific element. As far as the other pages, I’m not sure. Let me look at it some tomorrow – I do a fair amount of html/css; maybe I’ll see something….

asianmack came up with some unique code that allows sidebar only to be displayed index page. vkaryl if you want I can email the file to you or I may change the zip tonight yet. Let me know.
Unless it’s a really small file (less than 200k), I’d rather you’d just post when it’s up – I’m on dialup….

Wow I missed this but it was added to the zip last night so get a new zip and the changes are on the header and index page.

Yep – that’s what I wanted, dawg. I just uploaded the “bare” unzipped file, will now customize again. Thanks bunches, and I like Alamo too, but it’s not my “thang”….

Thanks, maybe there are some hardcore Texan’s out there for the Alamo. It’s not really my thing either, was just playing around.
