I’ve noticed recently that my comment subscriber count grew by a couple dozen subscribers in one day, after another [larger] blogger linked to my blog. I’m 99% sure these new subscribers meant to subscribe to my main feed, not to my comments (it’s a craft blog, so there’s little reason dozens of people would be so interested in the comments). Does anyone know why this is happening?
I found this post, but it’s 3 years old. Can anyone point me to a solution for WordPress 3.5.1?
