New staging site has db connection to live site

    We’ve just cloned our live site which is using Redis Object Cache, to create a new staging site. We noticed that some changes implemented on the staging site were also changed on the live site. We’re trying to find out why. Could this plugin have caused changes on the staging site to be implemented on the live site as well? Live and staging sites have different databases, and are located on different cPanel accounts. Thanks

    You can’t just clone the site without changing the WP_REDIS_DATABASE otherwise it will use the same cache.
