Hi @bburgay
The plugin itself should be trying to send every submission through to the API to be processed for your list. Is this autoresponder, in your case, part of a confirmation of successful addition, or is it perhaps part of a 2 factor authorization to be added to the list?
Are they showing up in the lists as well? Which would indicate that the addition succeeded, but the notification did not.
Hi @constantcontact,
The autoresponder is supposed to send an initial email upon signing up and then two follow ups days later. I have no two factor authorization setup. It’s just a basic autoresponder series. The form on the website asks for the email address and that’s it.
They are not showing up in the lists either. I am getting dozens of notifications from the plugin but they are not added to the list or the autoresponder in Constant Contact. Again, I tested it myself yesterday after updating the site and was added successfully but we have gotten several emails since and these people were not added to the list or autoresponder.

@constantcontact
I just ran some of the emails through this site: https://cleantalk.org/blacklists/updated_today and they are all reported as spam. So since it works for a test email I put in and not these emails which are reported as spam I’m wondering if Constant Contact is automatically filtering them out. Can you confirm this?
Checking on some things regarding this. Will get back to you soon.
I have been informed that the constantcontact.com side does do some spam filtering like mentioned above, so that is a very viable detail to keep in mind here.
Ok, thank you. Is it possible you don’t have recaptcha implemented properly? I see many others complaining about spam.
We can’t completely rule out the thought, but I know when we were first implementing we definitely poured over the documentation as best we could. The 1.4.2 and 1.4.3 releases from the past couple months hopefully helped address further issues with it that we had reported. However, majority of the spam reports were from before those releases.
