New shortcodes dont seem to work

    Hi guys,

    Im using the Contact Form 7 for a quitte a while now. I’ve noticed that the contact form 7 uses a new style for the shortcodes since the last update.

    Problem is that the new shortcodes doesnt seem to work. While the old one still works, a newly generated form is not visible on the front-end of the website.

    It shows the error: [contact-form-7 404 “Not Found”] while the shortcode is copied from the form and pased into my page.

    What am i doing wrong?

    Try deactivating all other plugins and switching to the default theme. If it solves the problem, reactivate them one by one, then you’ll find which one is causing it.

    Just to submit… I’m using the latest stable release fetched from WordPress Plugin Repository and my installation of Contact Form 7 is working fine.

    i have found the / a solution. A part of the new shortcode is: title =”my_title”.

    If i change the “” into ”, the form does work. so the shortcode is something like this: [contact-form-7 id=”my_ID” title=’My_Title’]

    Problem solved 🙂
