Hello jutee,
please provide output from Settings -> FV Player -> Tools -> System Info.
Can you see the wp-admin -> FV Player section? Do you see your player with ID 1 in there? Does it open properly when you click to edit?
Thanks,
Martin
Hi Jutee,
We’ve moved FV Player over to a database system which allows much better playlist management. We liked the simple style we used before but as playlists become more and more important to users, database style adds a lot of power. If you stick with 7.2.8.727 (2018/10/22) or older, you can continue to use the old full length URL style as long as you’d like if you don’t need any of the new features. The database version is getting regular updates and improvements so if you upgrade in six months whatever issues you have now will likely be gone.
Thanks, Alec

I am having the same issues. I am not getting my shortcodes to work.
I just installed the plugin and made my first playlist, but I get an error saying the code is broken.
I looked in my settings, but I am not seeing what you are referring to.
Hi Tross,
Thanks for writing. Please stick with 7.2.8.727 (2018/10/22) for ongoing support of the old shortcode format. If you are a new user, this doesn’t apply to you.
Please check out our extensive documentation and if you are still having issues please raise a detailed bug report on our free support forums including screenshots and your step by step process and we’ll be happy to troubleshoot your issue with you.
If you’d like hands on help with your site, pro support is available. Most often issues like the one you describe are related to other plugins or “advanced” themes which break WordPress.
If you are on one of the official TwentySomething themes (or similar), then this may be a genuine bug and we’d really appreciate a detailed bug report.
Thanks, Alec
