New Roles Auto Restricted to all pages/posts (4 posts)

    Hello,

We have an issue where we have over 100 roles and 1000 pages. When we create a new role, we would like for that role to automatically be restricted to all posts/pages. Then we would enable certain pages for each new role created. Is this possible?

As of now, our process is:

    1. Create new role
    2. Create page for that role
    3. Go into AAM and go through all others pages and click "restrict"

As you can imagine this is VERY time consuming.

Any ideas or ways to make our situation more efficient?

    Thanks!

    Hi WebMarketingPros,
If you have AAM Plus Package, go to Posts & Pages and by default you'll see the list of Posts. At the same time you can find the breadcrumb about the list that says Posts >> All. Here you the right click on gear icon and this is where you specify the default access to all posts.
Currently we are working on feature that will allow you to duplicate the role.

    Hello Vasyl,

Here is a screen shot of that page. I do not see where I can right click on a gear icon to set Role "_Visitor" to be blocked on all posts and pages. Can you explain in better detail?

    Hi WebMarketingPros,
Based on what I see, you do not have AAM Plus Package Extension.

For more information you can also check our tutorial section.
