    Hello,

We’re having this really wierd bug.. I’ve added 2 new products on WooCommerce (5 days apart), and both aren’t showing on the product archives. Normally this can easily be solved by regenerating the permalinks, but no success now!

Products ARE being displayed in the products filters.. Whut?

So normally you’d regenerate the permalinks.. No success here.

So as this goes back into the .htaccess I went ahead and emptied the .htaccess so it could be regenerated. No success.

Then I went ahead and updated everything and started looking for errors. No errors, problem still persists.

Then I went looking for theme related issues.. So I switched to the twenty-fourteen plugin. No success.

While in default, I created a new category and assigned 5 products to it. 3 old ones and the 2 new ones. Only 3 products displayed. No success.

    Regenerated permalinks again: No success.

Changed stock to -10 on both products + out of stock status, saved, regenerated permalinks and put the stock back to it’s original state (75 & 90) + in stock, then regenerated the permalinks again. No success.

Did the same with the “Visible status” in WC, turned it off and back on with regeneration of the permalinks in between. No success.

Yey me: This site has no staging environment, so it’s all done on live. Setting up a staging now so I can go ahead and start disabling plugins.

Some more significant plugins which could possibly cause issues:

Canvas theme v1.4 + GT3 builder (Yes really).
    WooCommerce ML
WooCommerce product filter (Showing vanished products)
    WC Role based price
    WPML CMS @version 3.5.1.1
    WPML Translation management @version 2.2.2
    WooCommerce @version 3.1.0
    WP @version 4.8

And the one I created for troubleshooting which expresses my current feelings: http://www.annelighting.nl/shop/anne-test-product/

Best regards and thank you in advance,
    Ruben

  • Did you try:
    – On the product edit page, Publish section, yes I see you have set visibility, did you also set the separate “Catalog visibility” = “shop and search results”
    – Dashboard > WooCommerce > system Status > Tools > clear transients (both)

    Hi,

    Thank you for the suggestions.

Just tried them both with no luck. Also did the terms recount, which was also a dead end.

    Any more suggestions?

I see you have already tried the default theme. Did you try simultaneously deactivating other plugins. If it works now, reactivate the other plugins one-by-one and check.

    Hi Lorro,

I’m currently working on getting a mirror up and running so I can duplicate the issue. Especially to see what’ll happen if I disable a bunch of plugins as this site is pretty dependent of plugins unfortunately.

I’ll let you know once things have been tested further!

    Best regards,

I have the same. No one of above suggestions worked. What works is to roll back to the WC version 2.6.14, then click on the Quick edit of the product which is not visible in the latest version of WC. The product has marked visibility as “hidden” (this option is NOT available after WC 3.xx). You change the “hidden” to visible, and update the WC to the latest version.
I signalised this problem and solution to WC issues, they remain deaf in this matter.
So I add 5 products, I roll back the version, I change the visibility, I update again…
Not what I expected from XXI century sofware..
If I knew, I would stay with 2.6.14 without touching anything, it was working so well.

Just tested it further and it seems to be a conflict issue. However, I have yet to determine which plugin is causing the hikkup.

Unfortunately my time window to fix this has been past now, so it’ll be dropped to be picked up later on after other higher priority issues have been resolved.

Once I start debugging again I’ll make sure to post updates here.

Marking as solved, since it’s been confirmed another plugin is causing this.
