 * Hello,
 * When a new product is added to facebook catalog via the plugin, a new facebook“
   post” is immediatly done to say to the page audience that a new product as been
   added to the shop. Is it possible to deactivate this post, and how ?
 * Thanks a lot in advance,

 * Hi [@morleyd](https://wordpress.org/support/users/morleyd/)
 * Thanks for your question!

 * I checked [our documentation](https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/facebook-for-woocommerce/#getting-started)
   and didn’t find any reference on that notification when an item is added to your
   Facebook catalog.
 * I’d like to check further the detail, can you please take the screenshot how
   the notification looks like on your Facebook page?
 * If you don’t already have a screenshot service installed, here are a few free
   options:

 * Hi [@morleyd](https://wordpress.org/support/users/morleyd/)
 * Thanks for sharing the screenshot!
 * The way you would solve this is, on your Facebook account, to go to your Business
   Page Settings > Page Updates > click on Edit > and turn off post notifications
   so that they don’t automatically update every change.
 * This should resolve your feed issue.
 * I hope that helps!
 * Let me know how it goes!

 * Thanks but I had already tried this but unfortunately the posts still appear.
   It may worked in the past but only seems to cover changes to address, opening
   hours and that sort of thing now

 * Thanks for your message.

 * I think this notification is tied to a personal Facebook account that could be
   the fan of your shop/page. We don’t have the option to control this notification
   as it’s on Facebook side.
 * This is something you will want to reach out to the Facebook support team for
   further help.
 * Here at WooCommerce, we don’t have access to your followers on Facebook and can’t
   send notification to them via Facebook when you add a new item to your WooCommerce
   store.
 * That being said, you may review the below options:
 * If you don’t want to automatically sync first upon creating a new product, you
   can go to the Facebook option within the product settings and select `Sync and
   hide in Catalogue` or `Do not sync`
 * If this is for a variable product, please click the variations tab, and then
   select Do not sync: this is an example from a test site [https://d.pr/i/cdO8V6](https://d.pr/i/cdO8V6)
 * That way, your product won’t be published into FB catalog/shop. Feel free to
   go back to the product edit screen and then select Sync and show when you decide
   to sync and show in your FB catalog/shop later on.
 * Hope that helps!
