This is the type of plugin I need to use very rarely, mainly for cleaning up a bit after experimenting with new plugins that leave tables behind. Instead of diving into phpMyAdmin, you get a UI. But OK, I forked out the $59 for a Pro license just a few months ago.

I tried to clean my database once and it completely broke my site, and I had to restore the whole thing through my host. I guess next time I have to be more careful with a few checkboxes.

Now, just 2 months after purchase and one failed attempt to clean my database, they introduce a new version of the plugin, with the request to pay once more—and every year.

These subscription models are becoming worse and worse. Lately I came across a cookie plugin with a subscription. I actually develop software myself and use SaaS models, but do you really think it fits this category of plugin?

    Hi @verzenden,

Database cleaning must always be done with care. Removing items that are still needed by WordPress, a theme, or a plugin can break a site, which is why backups and careful review are essential. Even with a user-friendly interface, database cleanup is a sensitive operation, and selecting the wrong items can lead to issues.

Sorry for the confusion, but the statement about losing your license or being forced to pay again is not correct. Your LTD (lifetime) license remains valid and is fully respected. As an LTD user, you will continue to receive version 4 as usual, without any loss of access. Nothing has been taken away from your original license, and you can keep using the plugin as you always have.

You can read more about the migration process here:

    Kind regards,

    Younes
