New posts are being stored in uploads folder, result: server error

    Hello, I have a really strange problem and I haven’t managed to find a support question that is similar here on the forum, sorry if I have overlooked it somehow.
    Here is the mystery to be solved:

    Everytime I create a new post, the post is being saved as a png in the /www/wp-content/uploads/2018/10 folder… Which results in a 404 message.

    I have no idea what went wrong or how to begin to solve this. Hope someone has a brilliant insight… thanks!

    How long since WP was working correctly?

    Could you post here the html of a typical post to your site? (Go to wp-admin -> Posts -> Add New, make sure that the editor for the post is in “Text” mode not “Visual” and copy the text to here.) Also show us what is in the “Enter title here” field?
