# New post save types?

 * I’ve looked all over Google and I can’t seem to find an answer, probably because
   I’m not searching for the right keywords.
 * I want to know if it’s possible to save posts under different folders. By default,
   I have Publish, Drafts, and Trash (I believe)
 * Is it possible to create a new folders to save your posts in? For example, I 
   want to be able to save the posts in folders called Ready for Editing, Ready 
   for Publish, etc
 * Any help is much apprecaited.

 * Thanks for the reply. Thats an interesting plugin but I was really hoping to 
   simply add some different statuses. I don’t think I need all the other functions
   and I try to avoid plgins if possible.

 * No, I don’t think you can.
 * There is this function: [http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/register_post_status](http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/register_post_status)
 * but the newly registered statuses are not yet implemented in the admin screens(
   e.g. they don’t show in the dropdown list of statuses alongside Pending Review,
   Draft, Published). So essentially you can do very little with it at the moment.

 * The plugin is modular, you can disable all other functionality of the plugin 
   if you want.

 * I guess I’ll have to resort to a plugin. Are there any others to choose from?
 * What would I even serach for if I wanted to look for a plugin that did this?

 * Look for ‘post status’. Pending Review, Draft, Published, trash are all post 
   statuses.
