I’ve published a new blog post and configured the keywords as usual. It doesn’t get linked at all. See screenshots:

    Keyword settings in Gutenberg

Keyword not in Link Juicer statistics

The post is not in the statistics, too.

The index has been rebuilt 100%.

I never had any issues like this before. Seems like no matter what keywords I set up, they are just ignored.

It may have to do with the latest update to WP 6.1 and Internal Link Juicer 2.0.3 – both applied today before publishing the new post.

I’ve tried activating the “greedy linking” but it had no effect at all. (see this issue)

Thanks for reaching out. We will check that and get back to you.

Update on that: We have found the issue and implemented a fix. Will release it with the next version 2.0.4 soon.

May I ask you to update our recently released version 2.0.4?

This release addressed a problem with the greedy mode and should fix your reported issue.

I’ve installed it, edited the post in question, and made sure the link index was rebuilt.

The issue is not solved. The post and its keywords are not in the statistics, and the post still not auto-linked.

I’ve published a new post now, just to see if it’s post-specific or happens on all posts. Again, no linking applied. It seems like new posts are completely ignored.

I’ve downgraded from 2.0.4 to 2.0.2 now, but the problem remains. Could it be a WP 6.1 related issue? I made both updates the same day… see initial post of this topic.

Can you please tell us a bit more about your site (how many posts do you have whitelisted for linking, how many keywords are set that need to get matched?).

I’ve decided not to use link juicer anymore.
