# New Post Function Not Working

 * Hello,
 * I just upgraded to 2.5, everything worked fine. But I went to write a new post
   and it’s a blank page. I tried using Windows Live Writer and I get this error
   message
 * “The response to the metaWeblog.newPost method received from the weblog server
   was invalid:
 * Invalid response document returned from XmlRpc server”

 * I have the same problem … for some reason the page does not refresh. A new post
   is recorded, but it will not update an existing post.

 * And writing a Page and writing a link section works

 * Re-uploading all the files seems to fix my problem.
