• I have created a new plugin called: WP Math Pub. Display mathematical expressions using dynamically generated images from special “[pmath size=xx]plain math text[/pmath]” tags embedded in a WordPress post.

It uses Pascal Brachet’s phpmathpublisher library. It’s an update to Matteo Bertini’s WordPress plugin called PHP Math Publisher.

You can see how it works and get a copy here:

Here is an update. I just finished publishing my WordPress Math Publisher plug-in here on wordpress.org:
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wpmathpub/

I just finished testing the plug-in from wordpress.org’s site and it works fine.

I undertook this effort because I found the ability to display math equations in my blog was not well supported. Yet math expressions are such a great way to communicate a variety of ideas. I hope you find this plugin useful.

    Best regards,

    Ron Fredericks
