New Plugin: Trashbin.

    Trashbin is a plugin to rescue you from yourself. Trashbin keeps a copy of your deleted posts, pages, and drafts (and soon more) in your database so that you can restore your accidentally deleted posts without searching through those backup files and without the risk of losing your permalinks. Trashbin is currently for WP 2.0.x only, due to database schema changes in the 2.1 series. Please feel free to leave a comment suggesting features.

    This is a great idea, all we need now is a “Ready to Publish” button for thoese we dont want to be able to publish 😀

    soulcreapper, I highly recommend you upgrade to 2.0.3, 2.0.2 still has some security issues, and this plugin takes advantage of the new security features available as of 2.0.3.

    Sheesh, this was supposed to be a major next feature for like 6 months now — glad someone finally decided to make it a plugin. I’ll have to look at your code, see if you took the ‘desired route’ of implementation…

    I’m on WordPress 2.0.3 and get the error

    WordPress database error: [Table ‘username_wp.wp_1mtb’ doesn’t exist]
    SELECT mtb_ID, mtb_user, mtb_type, mtb_itemID, mtb_date FROM wp_1mtb LIMIT 0,10

    Any ideas as to what might be up with that?

    (the error comes up when I visit the trashbin tab in the admin panel)

    Does anyone have a copy of this plugin? Or know the developer’s email? His site has been down for the last month or so and really want this plugin. I will host a mirror on my server if anyone sends me a copy: webmeister at orderofR.net

    I had a copy of it, but I’m not sure if I still have it or not though. I had a hard drive crash a few good months back. I’ll look around on my zip disks and CD’s and see if I have a copy… 😉
