• Got this from my hosting company:

Our engineers have reviewed your site and have advised of the following:

every time a link is clicked on the top menu, (home/forum/fanzines/merchadise/gallery/songs/etc….) a new php process is started.

changing from one link to another is causing 25-50% spikes.

would recommend that customer contact wordpress for info on how to close the php processes when a page is navigated away from and on how to reduce his overheads

    The site is http://www.thejunglebhoys.net/jb

Can anyone help me out there – dont have a clue what they are on about or how to solve the problem – they have put me onto a backup server and will delete the site at the weekend if the problem is not rectified asap.

i run wordpress on another host and never had a single problem with spikes at all and it uses the same menu system

and since they stated that if the problem is not solved they will delete it – what else am I supposed to do other than delete the new version of the site and fall back on the old html version.

What host is this? Do they have any info on their site about what you can and can’t install?
