    Hi!

    Is it possible to change the layout of the paypal gateway? Currently when I am testing with a sandbox account, I get sent through the “shady 90’s”-look paypal instead of the new mobile-friendly design that virtually every other paypal site uses. Do you know the cause of this and how I can force the new design?

    Hi @kissahen – Old sandbox accounts typically will use the old 90s looking PayPal. Even some new accounts. Their sandbox is horrible. However, when you switch from sandbox to live you should see the new design. As far as I know and have researched there’s no way from the Give end to direct PayPal to use the new look. Note: switching from “Donation” to “Standard Transaction” in WP-Admin > Donations > Payment Gateways > PayPal Standard does effect the user experience. Try playing around in live mode to see what suits you best.
