new password

i cant remember my password, it was saved on the computer, i’ve been into tools and it did say a password was saved, so i tried that, but its not working. it emails me back to reset the password, but its just taking me round in circles and wont allow me to reset it. it comes up with “sorry that key does not seem to be valid” which i have seen elsewhere has been a problem. i have no idea what to do, i cant log in to update the version of wordpress if thats what i need to do. any help very useful thank you. rebecca
