# New pages?

 * Newbie question, but how do I make a new page? Not a page that show posts or 
   anything, I just want to type some info on it once and display it.

    If you want
   to maintain the same look as your blog page, duplicate your index.php file and
   modify to your hearts content. 🙂 Have fun!

 * You mean a static page?
    Do you want it to be inside of WordPress (so you can
   edit it through WP)? If yes there’s a few different ways, try a search for “static
   page” or something. I’ve recently tried junesix’s method described in [this thread](http://wordpress.org/support/index.php?action=vthread&forum=5&topic=5687&page=0),
   works for me. Otherwise you could just create some static HTML files in a text
   editor and manually insert a link to it in your index.php Hope this helps.
