New page shows ttwo nav-bar menus

  • RustyWriter

I’ve just added a new page with an embedded You Tube video on it. Everything works except it has two nav-bar menus; one in the nav-bar as it should be and is on every other page and, another below it which is no in the proper order and which looks like a bulleted list.

I guess I don’t understand menus yet. Without creating a new menu you get a nav-bar menu with secondary pages listed and no apparent way to edit. I created a menu named “Navigation Bar” so I could properly sort the menu items and also so I could place some menu items under others.

I can’t seem to find a way to choose which menu to use or to disable this second ‘nav-bar’ menu.

    Can anyone help?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
