New Package includes ALL non WP files

    I have a really weird issue.

    When I check the pre-zip size it claims:

    Pre-Zip Overview: 881.9MB 3,117 Files, 385 Folders

    This I know for a fact is wrong, in my cpanel I have only used 300odd mb, the blog I’m trying to move is purely text and one or 2 photos.

    I’m not sure what the checker is reading to get that, any ideas?

    I see there is a way to exclude files, but is there a way to tell it the path the the folder were the WP build is?

    That is strange, never had that reported…The logic merely transverses your root wp directory. Here are few thoughts:

    1. Do you happen to have other .zip files from other backup programs
    2. Possible, but unlikely you have a symbolic link and its trying to traverse that directory
    3. Your cpanel stats are incorrect.

    Other than that of all the downloads of the plugin that has never been an issue. Can you check with your hosting provider to validate the size?
