    My site isn’t sending new order/payment notifications to me or the customer when custom order status is enabled.

    Other emails still work. When I change an order from “processing” to a custom status, that email sends fine. Same when I cancel an order.

    If I disable the plugin new order notification emails send normally.

    The site is running:

    Wordpress 5.0.2
    Woocommerce 3.5.3
    Custom Order Status 1.4.5

    Hi @thalpin,

    Thank you for providing us the versions of the plugin which are active on your site.

    Can you please let me know whether you are using any of the plugin’s ‘Default order status’ on your site? Attaching a screenshot for your reference:

    If yes, then you might stop receiving some standard WooCommerce emails like New order email notification. This happens because triggers that send default WooCommerce emails are related to order status changes.

    For example “Processing order” email is sent on these order status changes: from failed to processing, from on-hold to processing, from pending to processing.

    And “Order on-hold” emails are sent on: from pending to on-hold, from failed to on-hold. So if you change the default order status, emails are never triggered.

    A possible workaround would be to create a new email in plugin’s “Emails” section that would look like standard WooCommerce email.
