    Hi,

    I am setting up an e-commerce website and I tried to place order to test the Woocommerce system.

    But I am facing the problem below:

    1) Gmail not receiving new order notification
    – I saved 2 email address as new order recipients (xxxx@gmail.com & xxxx@mydomain.com)
    xxxx@mydomain.com received the new order notification but xxxx@gmail.com is not receiving the notification even though in spam

    2) Customer (using Gmail) doesn’t receive “thank you for your order” email
    – I tried to place order (cash on delivery) and created an account with using Gmail
    – order process is completed but there is no “thank you for your order” email sending to the Gmail account (customer) even though in spam
    – this issue doesn’t happen when I used xxxx@mydomain.com to place order

    Kindly advise.

    Sorry for the false alarm.

    I checked the FAQ and I noted this:
    Make sure you’re using an email address attached to your own domain in the “From” Address field in WooCommerce >> Settings >> Emails. Using your @gmail.com, @yahoo.com or similar public domain email address will likely cause emails ending up in spam folders of your recipients due to mismatch between the declared sender (servers of Gmail or Yahoo) and the actual sender (your server).

    I updated the “From” Address field in WooCommerce setting everything works fine
