New order e-mail address can’t add or change

Hello, I’m having a really strange problem with woocommerce plugin.

If i go in the woocommerce settings –> e-mail section, and i try to change the “new order” e-mail address, i delete the e-mail address, i write the new one, i click on “save modifies”, the website reply “modifies saved”, but the email address doesn’t change!

I can’t add e-mail addresses or modify the new order e-mail notification address…

What can i do? Thanks!

It sounds crazy, but it’s probably some kind of bug with the Additional Content field. Try removing the 🙌 emoji from it and re-saving.

If that fixes it for you, would you mind posting your System Report (WooCommerce -> Status -> Get system report)? I’m trying to figure out what people with the problem have in common.

I’ve got another question for you:

is it possible to set up fixed customized prices and conditions?

For example: for orders over the 49 euros, ship costs of 5 euros are free. so for orders of 49+ euros shipment must be 0 euros and not 5.

For orders between 99 euros and 199 euros, shipment must be 0 and moreover there is a 5% discount.

for orders over 199 euros, shipment must be 0 and moreover there is a 10% discount.

Is it possible to set up these conditions as default for all the products?

Thank you, I appreciate the system report. @3sonsdevelopment, see above for another system report from someone with the emoji problem, I know you were trying to figure out this issue too.

If I understand your question correctly, I think you could do it in two parts:
1) Add a free shipping option in your shipping zone set to “A minimum order amount” for the 49 euro threshold.
2) Use a plugin (the official Dynamic Pricing one or something else) to configure the 5 and 10% discounts.

There is only a little thing that remain to “solve”, it’s not a problem but if i can do it…it is better…

if you order more then 49 euros, the cue ball with the standard shipping fee of 5 euro remains… (and it appears the cue ball with the “free shipping” option.)

Is there a way to make the 5 euro cue ball disappear? when you order more then 49 euros of products?

Really the last one question: a client come to visit me yesterday… he talked about turning SSL https his website…

what do you think about it? Is it necessary on woocommerce-wordpress websites? What steps have i to do if i decide to put a ssl/https certificate?

I do think SSL is important, especially now that it’s not expensive/time-consuming to set up. The steps involved will depend on your setup/host, but there’s probably good guides out there.
