    I’m running an installation with multi-site (subdomain) and multi-network. When I now create a new network I get the white screen that says “Error establishing a database connection”. I do not get this error when adding a subdomain to an existing network. The installation is setup at ajorel.com. The new network is ajorelpreview.com.

    The Network issue occurred on 4.3 RC2-33600 and 33605. I only tried adding a new subdomain when using 33605.

    Please let me know what additional information is needed.

    Roll back to 4.2.4 and confirm that you don’t get the error there?

    I got the same error on 4.2.4. I’ll have to figure out what changed since the last time I successfully created a new network. Thank you.

    I’m moving this out into Multisite then.

    Can you confirm you have both of these lines in your wp-config:

    define('WP_ALLOW_MULTISITE', true);
    define('MULTISITE', true);

    There are currently 2 networks working, one of which has 2 subdomains working also.

    The domain is getting the error even after the network has been deleted.
