New Multisite site directory?

    Hey everyone,

    Hope you are having a good day. I’m new to setting up multisites and I need help. I added a second site to my network, however it’s using files and database from the first site in my network. How do I create a new directory and pointing second site to that directory? I want to post links to the sites but I’m not sure if it’s allowed. Thank you for any help.

    A multi-site installation runs off a singel code-base, so it will share files like themes, plugins, etc. You do not need to (or want to) create a different folder for each additional site.

    That’s how multisite works… It allows one WordPress install to host multiple sites using the resources of the first install. There are no separate subdirectories or individual databases.

    Figured it out, thanks! I just needed to change the theme and delete the pages. I thought it was using the same one as the first site. Turns out it was just a copy and deleting pages doesn’t affect other sites.
