New message with all fields blank

Hi there,

great plugin! 🙂

I’m just struggling how can a user send a blank message without pre-defined “Recipient” field. With the shortcodes I have found in your documentation I only seem to be able to define the recipient to be actie post, … but I would like TO field to be blank. Is this possible?

What is URL of that page? please use [front-end-pm] shortcode and url without parameters.

Hi @shamim51,

when I use that shortcode it enters the entire inbox and there is no option to send a new message – please see screenshot: https://ibb.co/M6f3X0d.

Please go to Front End PM > Settings > Security and see if you have permission to send new message.

@shamim51 I’m sorry for the delay in my response, I didn’t check the thread in a while.

I have checked it and the user roles are ticked under the settings but still no possibility to send a message. Not even for admin.

Which version of the plugin you are using?
Please deactivate all plugins except this and change theme to one of default theme then try.
Let me know.

Hi @shamim51 thanks for the suggestion. I have done that and all buttons are visible. Does that mean that the theme I am using is causing the issue? Thanks

Please activate your theme and activate plugin one by one and see when it appears not working. Then you will understand which one creating problem.
