    Hello,

    I have been using this plugin for some times and everything was working fine. But for some days, i am not been able to add any new matches in Matchdays. I have faced this problem before. I am using the free version. Is there any rule that free version users will not be able to add new matches after sometime? Please give me a solution.

    Apologies for inconveniences!

    We don’t have any limits that prevent from creating new matches.

    BUT…Here is the number of cases that you might experienced:
    1. you have added to many games in one matchday. This will lead to the situation when you save too many items at once. There is a server settings for limits on how many items you can save.
    2. may be some third party plugins were installed that conflict with our product?
    3. some causes from using both single and team mode…

    1) I am using 2 matchdays. They don’t have similar no of matches. I am not been able to add matches in any of them. However, if i create a new matchday, new matches are adding without any problem.

    2) I have not installed any new plugins in recent days

    3) I dont know about this issue.

    Actually, when i create a new match and click Add new, it is adding. But if i click on Update, the match is not updating and not saved.

    Hi,

    1.How many matches do you have in “old” matchdays?
    2.Does old matchday connected to selected season? (Check it on matchdays list.)
    3.The league that is used for that season – is it single or team?(Check it on leagues list.)
    4.What sport do you run?
    5.What settings do you have in JoomSport settings “League type” – team or single?
    6.What is your WordPress version?
    7.What is your JoomSport version?

    Or simply provide us admin access via out ticket system. We will figure out for you.

    1) I have 2 leagues, one have 91 matches and other have 124 matches
    2) Yes it is connected to a season
    3) team
    4) I run football/Soccer
    5) Its team
    6) wordpress 4.9.1
    7) JoomSport 3.0.1

    We are not too sure if this is a cause but we have two advises that you can try to understand the problem:
    1. Can you try to ask your hosting provider to increase “Maximum Input Variables”
    2. Can you please delete couple of matches that you entered and try to add new – will that help?

    Once again apologies for such inconveniences! ๐Ÿ™ It is not a common case really so hard to say the cause without the access.

    I have tried your you suggestions but unfortunately none of it worked. I also talked to your helpline through chat but they said we have to provide the admin access and FTP id/pass. I need to get permission from my superior to do that which i still do not get. So the problem still exists ๐Ÿ™

    It is very hard to say why it is not working on your site without analyzing the case. We have tried many cases on our demo but it works without a single issue – looks like you have experienced some specific situation…

    Dear @rizbanul,
    The problem appears as there is limit for quantity of variables on one page and you have put the maximum number of matches in the same Matchday.
    As a variant you can use 2 or 3 or more Round Robin Matchdays – all results will be included into the Standings.
    If you need to put all matches in 1 Matchday (it’s not good for website – as system will work with big amount of data on one page) then you have to extend your php settings:

    Adding the directive into php.ini or placing following lines into .htaccess will :

    php_value max_input_vars ____
    php_value suhosin.get.max_vars ____
    php_value suhosin.post.max_vars ___
    php_value suhosin.request.max_vars ____
    instead ____ specify 4000 or 5000

    If it doesnโ€™t help please contact your hosting provider to extend the maximum quantity of variable allowed on one page.
