# New malware virus?

 * I woke up this morning to find my website hit with malware that tries to forward
   me to hiot.tinhowsinutha.pro to download malicious software. I did a scan in 
   wordfence but it didn’t find anything…..any advice?

 * Looking at your website, it doesn’t show a website instead it shows your directory
   structure.

 * Oh yes, bluehost is restoring my website to an earlier version. But yes I sure
   do/did have WP live chat installed….

 * You need to make sure to upgrade to latest version of WP Live Chat. Prior versions
   have vulnerability that allowed them to inject redirect code into your database.
   That’s why Wordfence didn’t find anything.
 * Once site is restored, check under WP Live Chat settings page, custom scripts
   tab. Make sure you don’t have any code there. That’s where redirect is. Delete
   if it’s there.

 * Ok I found this video…..He managed to fix everything by deactivating live chat.
   I will do that once my website is restored. Thank you for pointing this out to
   me.
