New logo not displaying. Old one still on!

Hi,
I’ve been trying to change the old logo for a website I’ve hosted for a while now, but to no avail.
Previously, I would simply go to customize/identity, choose new logo, upload it and that did the trick. This time the wierdest thing happened. I uploaded the new logo, and I could actually see it on the left column, where you have the button to load new pics as logos, but, no mater what I do, the preview on the right keeps having the old logo. And to make it even stranger, I deleted the image file of the old logo from the media library, but I keep on seeing the old logo instead of the new one! How can it be? Please make a child theme using https://wordpress.org/plugins/orbisius-child-theme-creator/ plugin. Then open header.php file in your child theme directory and replace its code with the code given in below link and save the file.
And add the below css code in style.css in child theme directory and save the file.
