New lines/Carriage Returns Stripped from Source

    I’m having a problem with my worpress install. In my souce, when I view source, most all of my header and footer is on one or two lines.

    Something recently has caused this to happen, and it was not my template files.

    This would not make too much of a difference, except it has caused my javascript to stop working due to the comment after the <script> tag. Since all of the javascript is jumbled onto one line, it is getting commented out.

    Can anyone help with this problem?

    I’m wondering, if it wasn’t in the templates, whether your method of uploading is causing the layout of the code to change.

    Yes, it did turn out to be the way my FTP was putting the files. I tried both ASCI and Binary, but same results, so I ditched the FTP client, tried another and everything is fine!
