hi guys. I just checked out word press for the first time, and think so far it’s pretty cool. I’m having an issue though. I followed all the directions I’ve seen online to the T, and while almost everything works, i can’t search, and posts don’t show up on the main page. The only way i can see a post is if i comment on it.

Also, in the admin panel, It will say, for example, “posts (3)” but wont actually list them.

    my setup is as follows:

    Server 1: (SQLSERVERVM)
    win2k8r2
    sql server 2008 r2

    server 2 (Web serveR)
    win 2k8r2 web server
    IIS 7.5
    word press 3.3.2
    PHP 5.3.10

I’ve followed all the instructions online to set up wordpress with iis 7.5 and sql server, and it looks like its working as i can see data entered into the database tables, the comments just don’t show back up on the page.

    my server is http://www.healthyinspirit.com/wordpress/
and the admin login is admin/1234abcd

Thanks for any assistance you can provide

    what happens if you:

    -deactivate all plugins

    -switch to Twenty Eleven theme.

tried that. Also tried rebuilding both wordpress site from scratch, as well as database. same thing. Something has happened though and i am now unable to connect (or at least the wordpress setup tells me as much) so I ended up just restarting with the microsoft installer version of webpress, that uses a bundled mysql database. I’ll try figuring out the MSSql thing later, it might be the data abstraction plugin thats causing it.

    Thanks for the reply.
