I just added the Defender plugin to my site via the plugins > add new.

It was a bit slow to install vs other sites I’ve used it on, but it’s the same server so there shouldn’t be any issues.

However, It keeps saying “4 issues” >

I told it to delete them … and it’s not.
So I did it manually via ftp – and it’s still seeing them as being there.

What is causing this cache? I do NOT have any wp caching turned on, and none of my other sites cache like this.

New site set up, so not my issue either related to other plugins. (Only using Thrive Architect theme which has zero issues and again, have used on multiple other sites too).

Suggestions? How do I stop this from caching?

    Hi @dimeco,

Defender free is hosted on wp.org and is not pulled from our servers so I’m afraid that we can’t affect much the installation time, it could be that there was just a temporary connection issue with wp.org and your server that caused the slower installation.

As for the reports not going away, WP caching plugins are usually handling frontend caching only and shouldn’t be causing such issues in the backend anyway.
What could be doing this is some server side caching like Object Caching or similar, can you check with your host if there’s any server side caching and try clearing it?

Could you also share a screenshot of the issues that you have reported in Defender as it might help figuring out why they are still showing up?

    Cheers,
    Predrag
