  • It took about two weeks to move everything over from Blogger to WordPress and I’m still on a learning curve, but for the most part, my site is finished and I’m looking for a critical eye as to how I might improve things like page load time, as well as navigation, overall appearance, color use, etc.

I’m using the Magazine Premium theme, which has its own built in slideshow, but with no help from the designer, I couldn’t figure out how to adjust the window size to fit my portrait artwork (I don’t use landscape). So, I purchased the show from Joomla, which took a while, but I figured it out. However, I think there’s now a drain on page load time, which can possibly be improved upon.

My site is primarily a podcast site for club music, with an emphasis towards the gay community. I do create some frosty artwork for each podcast, though everything is pretty PG-13. If this is not your cup of tea, I just wanted to give you a heads up.

One last thing, I’m self-taught in HTML and CSS. Being unemployed since 2007, I’ve had a lot of time to read, read and read some more LOL. Please, if you make any suggestions for changes in that area, do it in a manner that a slightly better than average person with coding knowledge can understand.

One last thing, I’m a big boy and can take the heat. As long as you’re being constructive, by all means let me have it! You can check my site out at
