New images not loading onto Word Press

    Hi,

    The problem I have has been on-going for months and months now. Any new images I load into the media library do not show up although there is a URL address for it/them. When I click on the “broken” image to edit the image. the image then shows up. I then right click on the image, copy image address and transfer that address into the images’ link page. I update the link and Bingo! The image(s) are where they should be on the webpage.
    However, after logging out and returning to the website, the images are no longer there. Just the small blue box with a question mark inside it. All my previously loaded images are visible in my media library and on the web page.
    I noticed this problem started after upgrading to Word Press V.3.9. I have deactivated and reactivated one by one every plug in to no avail.

    Is this a hosting issue or a Word Press issue?

    Thanks for any guidance and assistance. Our club sponsors are getting quite miffed at their logos not being on display.

    Either the 2014 directory does not exist or the permissions on that directory are different from the permissions on the other subdirectories in your UPLOADS folder.

    Thanks sffandom,
    My ISP host told me a directory had a file permission of 704 instead of 755. I changed the directories to 755 but when I try to upload an image it will load to the WP media library but there is no actual image thumb in the library.

    Any other ideas?
