Hello

I would like to request a new feature.

That’s an option to protect Ninjafirewall itself by a password before can access the Settings or disable it.

It should has the features to disable install new plugin/theme as well.

Those features like has in Shield Security plugin. If Ninjafirewall has those features, it will become perfect security plugin.

Hope the Author and everyone will like this request and add those features soon into the next versions.

P/s: A feature to force update plugin/theme also a must have because most of website got hacked because not update the plugins to the latest version, the current default update feature of WordPress core seem not very good, I will see many plugins do not get up to date when has new version.

There are similar features:

1. Restricting access to NinjaFirewall: https://blog.nintechnet.com/restricting-access-to-ninjafirewall-wp-edition-settings/

2. Disable installs and updates: Go to “NinjaFirewall > Firewall Policies > Disable plugin and theme update/installation DISALLOW_FILE_MODS”

Regarding forcing updates, we didn’t want to implement it because that could crash the site (bad update, conflict etc). Instead we have implemented the following features:
-You are immediately informed by email that you have a pending security update: https://blog.nintechnet.com/how-to-get-informed-about-the-latest-security-updates-in-your-wordpress-plugins-and-themes/
-You are protected by the firewall, hence you won’t be hacked.

Thank you for update.

It’s amazing to known that your plugin already has that feature. I replaced Shield Security with NinjaFirewall with a lot of features I need include CSP.

You should have a hub where people can send/upload the virus/shell signature to your database. I found a shell script on Github and test with multiple scanners and no program can found it 🙁 include imunify360, Wordfence, NinjaScanner, Virusdie, Virustotal …too bad
