A WP blog that I manage has been getting hundreds of requests per day for non-existing pages with similar URLs, generating as many 404’s. Is there a way to automatically block access from the actual referers (but not obligatorily the ones that appear in the stats, for they look spoofed, ie bing.com/bingbot.htm)?

Our plugin can’t realize checking if the page on your website exists. We only suggest you add such incoming IPs to blacklists.
