    I would like to have a different base prefix for different categories of products AND autoincrement (not randomly generate). For Bulk Generate, would be great to set an alphanumeric baseline/starting SKU and have code autoincrement the numerical part of SKUs from there. When assigning a new SKU from the product pages, just autoincrement from the last product sku created.

    When I switch to another product category, then I can set another prefix and the code autoincrements from that baseline SKU.

    Feature works on any product in subdirectories of main category chosen.

    Hello

    I will think about how to implement it, maybe we will. By the way, you can make different prefixes for categories right now – save the settings, generate for a separate category, then change the settings again and generate again for another category.

    Thank you for fast reply. Yes, I am already using the feature you mention but autoincrement does not work with it.

    Would also be great if there was a pulldown to quickly recall the categories that were customized with different prefixes and settings.
