• Hello,
I use Event Organiser for a market page and often new market dates are added. Recently I added new dates, but the new dates are out of chronological order on the specific event page. How can I fix it. Can’t find any settings to change the order of the events. All previous dates are fine. Can you please help me? Thanks in advance.

    Cheers, Romy

Events should be sorted chronologically by default. I suspect there could be a plug-in conflict, so you may want to try temporarily disabling other plug-ins or themes. Alternatively, a plugin like Query Monitor will allow you to inspect the SQL query running on that page to see what the sort criteria is (if it’s not StartDate, StartTime then its probably another plug-in over-riding it).

Other users have found that some post ordering plug-ins can sometimes conflict with event ordering. Typically this is because the plug-in in question applies to custom post types by default. There is probably a setting to disable that.

Tried everything. I can’t undo/deactivate WooCommerce and Jetpack and it should work with those typical plugins. Still had the problems after deactivation all the other plugins.
Can’t see a pattern how the events show up. All events are recurring events (weekly or individual). But all the dates from one event (like a weekly market) are shown, then another event with all the dates, and so on. It’s not alphabetical. It really doesn’t make sense. Can you please help me? Thanks.
