New event form is not as explained in documentation

Hi All,
The plugin in the website that I newly should administer, is not complete as I verified the tutorials and documentations.

for example, for a new event, I see the tile and content text boxes but the rest of the form is not as it should be. entire “The Event Calendar” is missing. I cannot see date, location, payment …etc.

I am going to buy the pro version since I think it is a very good plugin but I am not sure how can I fix this issue first and then upgrade.

Removing the plugin and reinstall it may be a solution but I will lost the previous events.

installing the pro version on top existing may cause other issues. So please advise me what you think.

Hi @alirezagoodarzi

Reinstalling – even if you delete the plugin first – will not remove any of your event related data. It will be waiting for you after reinstalling and activating.

If you could share a screenshot of what you see I would be able to help you better with the things you cannot find.
If you are using the classic editor then all the details should show up in meta boxes: event date and time, organizer, venue…

If you are using the block editor, then the pieces of info have separate blocks which you can insert at your convenience.

Note, if you would like payment, meaning selling tickets, you will need at least the free Event Tickets plugin.

I think uploading to a cloud service and sharing the URL is a fast solution.

That indeed looks weird.

I can imagine two things.

1. The meta boxes are hidden. Click on the “Screen options” on the top right and enable the needed meta boxes. Here’s a sample screenshot:

2. Another plugin for some reason is hiding them. Deactivate all other plugins and check if that helps.
