Um…thanks I guess MOD…but after reading that ticket, I do not see a way to fix this error…only chatter about same.

So, may I ask, why did you add this ticket to this thread?

Is that how things now “work” here at WP forums?

    ?

The issue was submitted to Trac yesterday as a bug yesterday. A patch has now been created and, with luck, it will be added to a future release of WP. If you actually read the Trac conversation, you’ll see that the real issue is that Google is returning an invalid feed. Not a lot WordPress can do about this.

And, yes, this is how WordPress bug fixing works and has always worked.

I’m getting the same error ever since I upgraded to 3.4 and I’m fairly new at this, so just trying to figure out if there is a way to fix it. Does this mean we just have to wait for google to fix it or a new upgrade? I’m not a developer, so not great with all the coding.

I found this in another post and it seems to be working for me. I’m no expert and certainly not technical, but at least it is working for now.

On the Incoming Links widget, go to Configure and replace the link with this one:
    https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=link:http://YOUR-WEBSITE-URL&tbm=blg&output=rss

Obviously, put your website in where it says your website.
    Hope that helps!
