New Easy Way To List Favorite (and help others find) WP plugins

Hey Everyone,

I’ve used these forums VERY often for help and wanted to let you all know about a website that I just launched that might help the community here find stuff. At least I hope so.

If whoever moderates this deems this as inappropriate, then please take this down.

Okay, so I run the blog tvinjapan.com which is a Japanese TV blog. I love it. It’s lots of fun. However, when I switched from blogger to wp a while ago, I had a hard time finding the right plug ins to use.

I googled and found a few lists but it took me a while to find them all. I started thinking that there had to be a better way to help people discover new things in list format than just Google search.

That’s when I came up with the idea for my new website tenspotting.com. It’s a social list sharing web site that allows you to make your own lists, post them to your blog and share them with friends. It also merges all of the lists together into an all-users list that’ll allow you to see the best of the best of what people are listing.

I made a “Top Ten WordPress Plugins” list that lists my favorite plugins that I’ve made use of on TViJ. It’s here:

Check it out and let me know what you think. If you can, make your own version of the list adding whatever plugins you use or like more than mind.

Or make another list. I’d love to see more WP based lists up there.
