New Domain vs Old Domain for Featured Image (3 posts)

    I installed a multisite + the domain mapping plugin. Afterwards I changed the base domain - via editing all entries in the database.

    I know it's perhaps not the best approach but it works perfectly so far.
    base domain: webpack.webhost.com
    1) domain: webpack.webhost.com/english -> http://www.mydomain.com
    2) domain: webpack.webhost.com/deutsch -> http://www.mydomain.de

    Only downside of this is that my featured images use the BASE domain as src url...

    Thank you in advance!

    I'm not sure what you are asking. However, the point of the domain mapping plugin is that you use it to map a domain to your site instead of editing the site domain/path.

    Yeah sure.

    But if I upload an image via the media manager, the fileurl is the base domain. http://webpack.webhost.com/english/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2013/02/0266.jpg

    And in the final page, the source it's going to be http://www.mydomain.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2013/02/0266.jpg

    But in the website source code the src url for my featured images is still -> http://webpack.webhost.com/english/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2013/02/0266.jpg

    Which is weird?!

    [No bumping, thank you.]
