New domain for a subsite?

    Hi guys,
    i have a Mu from years with subdomain. Now a subsite is growing up, and would be nice to add a new domain for this specific subsite. My idea is not to remove the original subdomain, but add a new one only for this… anyone have solved this problem before?

    Sounds like Domain Mapping would solve your issue. When you’ve installed and configured, you’d be able to leave the subsite just where it is, but give it an additional URL. That is, if you have:

    baby.mysite.com

    as your subsite, you could add a domain that you’ve purchase, such as:

    BabySiteGrowsUp.com

    In this way, WordPress will reinterpret baby.mysite.com for you and render the site with the new URL.
