New design with database problem

I migrated the website of my client from WP 3 to 3.5. I did a few changes in the design but nothing too complicated. But now I have the following error message:

Error establishing a database connection at sitepor500.com.br

When I open the website locally it works but when my client opens from his house it show the message above.
