    Hi,

I’ve been using AMP for WordPress with Monster Insights and Monster Insigts – AMP Addon for tracking for some time.

With the recent update of AMP for WP all AMP pages are now broken with a conflict with Monster Insights – AMP Addon. Disabling this plugin fixes the issue but they used to work in harmony together.

    Any ideas?

The error message is “Fatal error: Call to undefined function monsterinsights_disabled_user_group() in /var/sites/v/mysite.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/monsterinsights-amp/includes/frontend/tracking.php on line 4”

    Hi @twistedfngrs

The reason why it stopped is because there’s a fatal error in the “monsterinsights_disabled_user_group()” function coming from “monsterinsights-amp” plugin.

You need to contact their team to ask them to fix this issue and make it compatible properly with AMPforWP.

Do let me know if they are not able to help you, so I will try to fix their issue so at least your AMP version won’t be suffering.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi Ahmed,

You’re correct, sorry. Thanks for the reply.

It’s causing the same issue on another site using the standard AMP wordpress plugin by Automattic.

I’ve contacted the Monster Insights team to fix it.

    Thanks again.
