New Admin to an existing site; what do i need to do?

    @cowgirlmin

    I am joining an existing site. The website owner has already made me an editor on the site, but there is no “write” button or anything like that where it should be. I do see the rest of the info that should be on that page, but no way to “do” anything. Do I personally need to install wordpress on my computer in order to contribute/edit her site? Please let me know, I have absolutely no clue.

    No, you don’t need to install WP. If the website owner wants you to be an admin, she’ll have to change your status from editor to admin.

    If you don’t see the Write button you are not “editor”, just “subscriber”.
