Hi, yesterday I set up MailPoet Premium sending service on https://bestpoolchlorinators.com.au/. The DNS settings have been added to the host and verified. The key has been added to the settings on the website and verified. “MailPoet Sending Service” has been set under “Send with”. However, when I test that everything works I get an error saying I have been added to the subscription list but no confirmation email has been sent. If I log into WordPress and go to subscribers, my email address shows but if I click resend confirmation email it says “There was a problem with your sending method. Please check if your sending method is properly configured.” When I look at the Sending Queue under the System Status tab, it says “MailPoet Sending Service has been temporarily suspended for your site due to degraded email deliverability. Please contact our support team to resolve the issue.”

I cannot see what I have done wrong, any ideas? Prior to this, I had the standard MailPoet running, using the Host as the email sender, but that stopped working, causing a few “null” attempts to send emails, so I switched to MailPoet premium instead. Could that have anything to do with it?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi @mrretail,

I found two MailPoet.com accounts with plans associated with your website.

One of them is currently paused, the other one is working fine. Both have only free sending plans, so I’d assume when you say “MailPoet Premium” you’re actually referring to the MailPoet Sending Service.

I see the first account had sending paused a very long time ago (2020) and it was related to another domain associated with a different plan. So that’s why sending was paused for you too if you just added a new plan to this account. I’ll restore the sending for it now.

Let us know if it works!

@bruberries thank you for looking into this for me however, it is still not working. I have tried reverifying and have even cancelled the old account subscription and deleted any domains other than bespoolchlorinators.com.au, any further ideas?

Actually, you can cancel this query now, as I found the one step not mentioned here but given to me by your support team via direct email, I needed to also click “Resume Sending” on the MailPoet Home page dashboard. All working now. Thank you.
